Yes, it's possible !

There's a trade-union national meeting wednesday and I've been chosen by my local trade-union to represent our region in the meeting. They're paying me the trip and food (hi-speed train and all : only 2 hrs of travelling).
I just hope that the national train company won't be on strike (fuckin' unions !).
I'm staying a night at a friend's appt, going to be a lot of fun !

Yes it has, some german fortifications from the XIIIrd century ( http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porte_des_Allemands ) and lots of building from the XVII-XVIIIth century.

I never realized you were from Metz ! I spent 3 years in Nancy and 3 years in Strasbourg but i only visited Metz a couple times :?

Paris is my favourite city. It's a 2.5h drive from here I think and I love to go down there. So awesome. So much to see.
