There are a lot that I haven't read yet. I'll just narrow the list down to books that I have been wanting to read.
The Stranger A Clockwork Orange anything by Proust anything by Tolstoy To Kill a Mockingbird Grapes of Wrath (I enjoy Steinbeck too) any Faulkner besides As I Lay Dying Ulysses Farewell To Arms

that's the worst thing about Moby Dick. It's a great story and entertaining read, but I did not care for the many pages about the book that talks about whale anatomy. It's a rewarding read. I still think that the ending is an example of a perfect ending

You know, now that I think about it, I should read more classics. I don't think I've read enough, and a lot of my top favorites are classics - Jane Eyre, Mockingbird, The crucible. . .
