Couldn't find this movie in the search tool. Saw it last night and i was really impressed. Can't believe how good Ryan Phillipe was cause he's usually just ok. Cooper was tremendous as always. Did he get an Oscar nod for this? The weird thing is that i never even heard about this story til i saw the movie.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. If I remember correctly this was one of the few really good films released last Jan./Feb.

I was pretty disapointed. I thought it was very straight-forward, short, and lacked the plot twists of a good CIA movie. The plotline was good, but I didn't like how they chose to tell the story.

umm, its based on a true story. i think changing stuff around to make it more like a typical hollywood CIA movie would have missed the point. the extras on the dvd are pretty good too. i like the part where they were talking about the way hansen would lead eric o'neill into the wall if they were walking down a hallway. they added little things like that into the movie that you don't really notice until you watch the extra features.

I realize that. As a docudrama, its pretty good. But as a "CIA thriller" like its billed, it falls well short.

Its a very interesting story, and like Clubber I'm surprised i had never heard about it before the movie. Definitely enjoyed the film.

the only reason that i had heard of this before the movie came out is because i work in a classified environment. i can't imagine why this wasn't any bigger news than it was at the the time.

Is this movie based on the book The Bureau And The Mole?

Its not bad, but doesnt really hit as a thriller. As someone said its a docu-drama type thing

Still enjoyed it
