Best Super Bowl ever? Biggest upset in football history? I don't know about any of that...but this whole playoff run was awesome.

They went to TB and sent their old nemesis Jeff Garcia home for the playoffs.

Then they went to Dallas and eliminated one of the best offenses in football with a depleted secondary that featured a guy off the practice squad playing in the 4th quarter. Sending Owens home made it even better after all of the pain he's inflicted on the Giants as a member of the 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys.

Went to Green Bay and took down a legend. I mean, Favre had the BALL IN HIS HANDS in OT in his own stadium and the Giants still pulled it off...on a fucking 47 YARD FG when no FG in the history of Lambau had ever been kicked more than 40 yards in the playoffs.

Went to the desert and beat the only team to start a season 18-0 that included one of the best QB's to ever play the game and one of the best coaches of all time....thanks to holding the highest scoring offense of all time to 14 points.

Did I miss anything? Add it all up and you have what might be one of the best playoff runs of all time in any sport.

My town went NUTS after the game on Sunday. People were popping champagne in the streets and setting off fireworks. I think that fourth quarter took a year off my life....

I'm still hung over...and I don't give a fuck. The parade is on TV right now is and I'm fucking so happy.

i work a few blocks from the parade ... it's nuts outside right now. cops just had to disperse about two dozen people stopping cars in the street by huddling in the road and then banging on their hoods, windshields and kicking them.

Way to represent the NFC East.

yup, let's not overlook how the Giants survived the toughest division in football...a division where the worst team went 8-8 and almost knocked off the Pats with their backup QB.

I said it in the Super Bowl thread, it's a great time to be a Giants fan. It was a most incredible run for sure, and what made it even sweeter was that the only people who gave them a chance were their fans and the players themselves. I don't think I've ever seen a team with such heart and belief in themselves. Simply amazing!

I've re-watched all or parts of the game about 20 times since Sunday night. Plaxico tearing up after the game gives me the chills. I literally starting crying in my car yesterday listening to Bob Papa's calls of the highlights.
