I can check with my buddy for you, as he recently built his own gaming rig. He got some really nice components, and told me the total price was about $800. A word of caution: make sure your power supply is compatible with your motherboard. I guess my friend didn't acount for incompatibility issues, but it was rather disappointing to put it together and then not work.

Yeah, that's my computer nightmare. Thanks.

Coustom PC's all the way. Best store here in Nova Scotia is PC Medic. Been with them for many year's. Great service & great experience. I've never had problems with my clone PC's in year's. Not a fan of retail stores like Futureshop or Bestbuy with their service. They are very expensive.

Firstly ask yourself what are you using the pc for? And just custom build the specs that you really want. Put a price down how much you are willing to spend on it. Cause you don't want to upgrade your new pc in just under a year or so. You want something that doesn't need an upgrading in a few year's. Spec's you want, and will be using for year's to come.
