oh, for sure. that's the whole reason why this is fun. If they were quiet about it and not so arrogant, this thread probably wouldn't exist, and I would have congratulated them on a great season, but it unfortunately fell short one game. But since these select few pats "fans" ran their mouth and talked shit and we're going to be 38-0, bla bla bla, I'm loving this shit.

I think we are plenty ahead of you in that department. Deep down, you know the Pats will be serious contenders for years to come and that you will never be free of our pride.

Oh, unless BB gets suspended for the year.
arrogance.
I would NEVER say that the Steelers are going to win the superbowl in week fucking 9.
you deserved this loss. especially, ESPECIALLY, GrimmaceXX.

I didn't say that about the Pats until late in the season and playoffs. And it wasn't like I shouldn't have had that confidence. I mean really - it was practically an act of God that they didn't win.
You never had the right to say that about the Steelers in your lifetime.
I deserved a Stanley Cup, 3 NBA championships, 2 World Series and 3 Superbowls in my life. I'm only 36 and I deserve more.

You don't deserve anything. None of us deserve anything. So you watched these teams play for a long time. That's doesn't entitle you to anything. By your logic every team in every sport deserves to win a championship because they have loyal fans. Sports don't work like that. If they did none of us would watch. And your numbers don't add up. You either didn't see that Stanley Cup or you've seen more than 3 NBA Championships.

Who talks like this? Fellow board members, if I ever start making comments like this, just tell me to leave and I'll gladly do so. Keep it up WWYH, and they'll be threads devoted to YOU!

those comments were made tongue and cheek, you should of quoted the entire dialogue. I know these things can get complicated for Midwesterners.

I find it quite amusing that you lump all of "Boston" sports fans all together.... I know PLENTY of loyal Boston sports supporters that wouldn't agree with a single post that Grimmace has made over the years, but yet you label the masses (no pun intended) on what one fan, who makes ridiculous posts on a message board, as the voice of a fandom. There are going to be a lot of "fans" who love to spurt their mouth off at every chance they get, just to try and rile people up and cause a stir, it's one of the main reasons I hate listening to sports talk radio around here, but isn't this true for every team? You just seem to be perpetuating the problem by trying to shove it in his face....
