I usually skip over them unless it's a song I know.

I always skip them. The worst is when some shit posts song lyrics as his AIM away message...it's like...who the fuck do you think you are? Do you fucking think I'm gonna take the time to read another person's words and try to equate them with who you are...you gotta be kidding, because if you are on my buddy list there is no way in hell you are cool. Not even the words of another can change that shit.

I look at them, just a glimpse to see the style and content. But when there's a song to listen to and the lyrics are added, I really read along.

skipped over the last 2 posts, really

If it's a thread specifically about lyrics I will read them. If it's a "regular" thread it pisses me off when I see them. The big question now is would this thread be considered a "regular thread" or a thread about lyrics? This is getting confusing.

I guess my problem is mainly because most of the time the people never put what the fuck the lyrics are even from. Is it their own? Am I expected to know? Do I have to fucking search for them and figure it out on my own?

you should ask a co-worker what they're from. Try to sing it as best you think it would be sung if you have to.

When it's a song I don't know, I write my own song on them.
