"Pitchers and catchers report" One of the most satisying lines in sports. After one of the more crazy offseasons in recent memory, its all over, and spring training is here. A ton of questions, just a few off the top of my head, lets discuss.

Comeback kids in Liriano, Schmidt, Prior, Hampton and Carpenter.

Rookies Jay Bruce, Colby Rasmus, Cameron Maybin, Evan Longoria, Adam Jones.

Will the cubs get Roberts? The White Sox trade crede to the giants and for who?

Who's saying what about the mitchell report.

New additions: Santana, Miggy, Badard, Hunter.

Strange comebacks: Juan Gonzalez, Chad Fox, Brian Anderson.

Will Barry find a team?

Braves are going to be freaking awesome this year. Back to the Postseason.

I really want to make the trip to the Wide World of Sports for Spring Training. I want to see the new outfielders and the back half of the rotation and bullpen competition.

I would love to go to a spring training. But, im an accountant and im booked till april 15th. It blows.

Is everybody believing that the rays will really contend? They may have improved, but they're still the 4th best team in that division.

I feel bad for the Rays. Contend, I think, is a strong word, unless you mean contend for their first winning record.

I think they'll be like the royals in 2003 or something. First half they'll be maybe 3 or 4 games above .500 and then they'll end up winning 70-75 games.

The Rays are getting a lot of love from a few Baseball insiders, but I just don't see how they come out of that division.

not to mention they play thier games in Comp city USA. Tampa. Where East Coast America goes to die.

The bad Denny's and Cracker Barrell's are better attended.

the rays would have an outside shot in the west one day, and could become a perrenial contender i nthe central in time.

but in the east they probably will never contend with ny/bos

even the orioles will eventually get back to respectability and compete in that division

not w/ the nats stealing revenue. the O's are busted in the long view, i say the rays have a better chance than the O's to contend this year and down the road.

the twins will be interesting. our starting lineup of a season ago has porneau, mauer, and cuddyer returning. outside of the bullpen it's going to be like watching a new team. it's a little depressing, but even if we kept torii and johan we weren't going to keep pace with detroit or cleveland this year.

Liz, you better be a Mets fan, and not a fan of that other team.

I am a Mariners fan, but really since Utah doesn't have a MLB team. I root for the Mariners as my main team.

But I also root for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim because their Triple A team is the Salt Lake Bees.

and I also root for the Los Angeles Dodgers because their Rookie-A team is the Ogden Raptors.

and I also root for the Colorado Rockies because just the regional broadcasts, and I get to see more television Rockies games than Mariners games.

Can't wait to see some Brewers games here in AZ. I really think they can win the central if the bullpen doesn't suck it up again this year. Looking forward to seeing what Gagne has left. Braun and Fielder are two legit MVP candidates.
