they;re enjoyable. i haven't gotten beyond that level of occasional casual listening thought. they remind me of a combination of the beatles, the flaming lips, and some other third thing.

while I think "we all belong" is the more consistant album due to top notch production, I think "easybeat" has better songs...The Pretender is massive, Today and Wake Up are freakin awesome, and Easybeat is just a fun song to shake an ass too.

I pretty much started the whole MMJ craze, so trust me on this one Michael. Dr. Dog is titties fashion.

I'm not really too familiar with them, but the last part of "wake up" is really, really fucking good.

Hello out there.

Check out Dr. Dog.

They're a great band out of Philly. Been around for years but their just getting their shit together now.

They've got a great Beatles sound, with a little Neil Young, Kinks and Flaming Lips thrown in for good measure.

Saw them open a few shows for My Morning Jacket and they were fucking amazing live.

Got an advance copy of their new album "Fate" from a buddy at a radio station in Philly.

They've got a couple of EP's and maybe an LP or 2 out there as well.

You can probably find it at your local Mom and Pop. Or if you're more an Interweb type...head on over to Itunes and download it.

I think you'll be happy

Later

I think the album comes out proper in July...check it out and check them out.

"Fate" is an awesome record. It's far and away some of the best stuff they've ever done; you won't be disapointed.
