have to admit im not that much of a fan of this song. interesting to note that jack irons plays the drums on this track, and yes I agree they sound good. but i think its somewhat of a downer for me. brings out suppressed memories or something. kinda like seeing those dead bodies in the titanic movie. however it is on my faveourite pearl jam album, vitalogy. so my feelings are mixed.

turn off the lights and listen to it alone, with headphones
very true - or blast it out of a good sound system (like at my fitness center) - I think you almost need a slightly altered state of mind to really get into it - once I was there late at night, exhausted, had all the lights out and sat in the corner of the workout room and listened to it, and it was perfect.
BTW, its not a 'song' - its a track, or a word/sound sculpture, IMO.
It's decent, but whenever I listen, the beginning sounds like it could be a really cool intro to a normal song. But it just never gets going, disappointing kinda.

Gotta hand it to Jack, though, drums are awesome
Hail, Hail Jack Irons, the greatest drummer ever!
(Got "Attention Dimension" two weeks ago, hasn't left the CD player in my truck)
