In a BP today and I see PBR in the beer section. I thought to myself, I haven't had this since I was 11 or 12 so I'll give it another go. Folks, let me tell you something, there's a reason this piss sells for $2.04 a fucking case. I'm convinced that people who truly like this beer are either poor people or they live in a home that has wheels on the bottom of it.
I understand the theory of mass consumption. Believe me. But this beer itself, is a bad beer. It has a loyal following. But that's probably because their homes are mobile.

When is this whole irony thing going to go away? I can only take a few more rat tails and white jeans.
i don't know, they seems to put a lot of effort into it. i guess it'll happen when they realize that its a lot of work that ultimately adds little or nothing to the world and therefore is not worth it.

PBR > Budweiser, et al. You shouldn't drink either, unless you're a poor college student or it's given to you for free.
Wow.
Bud in a can is great during the summer. And don't give me that American piss water beer snob bullshit...I like my bud in a can on a hot day.
And can you really get PBR for $5 a case?
There are so many beers both domestic and import that are far superior to Bud on a hot summer day. And many of them cost the same. Budweiser lives on ignorance and marketing.
I just said PBR is better than Bud, do you really think I'm going to bring up that most mass produced American beer is nearly water?

You got me...I'm ignorant for liking something you don't.
I'm glad you understand.
What I'm saying is, through marketing Budweiser has made itself out to be this great American beer. Through the ignorance of the American beer drinking public, they pay higher prices for a product that they can get the same at a much lower price.
