Hi everyone!

I´ve been lurkin´around a few PJ boards and I must say that this one´s the coolest! :worthy:

This is my first post here and i would like to say hi to everyone and let you know that the Original Evil Little Goat from Scandinavia is here.
(I´m really not that evil.. i´m actually a very nice person and all about PJ :luv: )

I do have a question.. If anyone could give me advice on how to best purchase tickets to Pearl Jam shows that are in other countries?! I really doubt that PJ is coming up here in Scandinavia this year or any year for that matter so I´m looking at going to Europe for a concert.
I don´t know if some of you guys are planning concert trips to say europe... but if you are how would you best arrange tickets? Does the 10c help with this kind of stuff? Of course you could try to contact the local "ticketmaster" i don´t know.. i´m pretty clueless with this so if there are people that know how these things work.. i would appreciate it!!

ps. please forgive me for any misspelling i´m only a scandinavian goat

I don't know for sure but I think if you join 10c then you get tickets through the club just like the U.S. and there's nothing easier than that. Email the 10c and ask them.

Welcom to the board.

if you show dedication to making it to a pj show, and you come all the way from scandanavia to massachusetts, usa, your ticket is on me!

Wow! Yeah I´m definitely making it (going to see PJ live) a reality for me someday somehow.. Reading about real live experiences on message boards is making me a little envious. :?

Your offer Curt´s Ankle sounds pretty damn good but for now Massachusetts sounds too long way away.. But i´ll definitely remember your offer for future reference

hey curtsankle....does that work for me too. Indiana to Mass is a heck of a long way :D but for a free ticket I'd walk there! (okay I doubt that)

honest to god, I have been to 8 pj shows, bought 2 tix to each one, and been bailed on last minute and attended alone 2 of those...I'm about ready to give my other one WHEN THEY COME TO BOSTON LATER THIS YEAR to someone who will truly appreciate it, so the offer has some seriousness to it.

plus there was only one show where I actually got the $$ for the ticket from a friend. I usually treat whoever I go with to a free ticket, I don't think I'm the only one who practices this.

I'm usually the one who buys the PJ tickets on my end too. Though it's typically reciprocated(SP?) later on when another act comes through town. On a couple occasions though I was dragging the other person to the show and due to the live show, became PJ fans for life. The pearl jam show is something that NEEDS to be seen. I CAN'T WAIT for the next tour!!

Always good to see another Scandinavian PJ-fan! :D
About the tix, I would think (and hope) that on a European Tour they would use the same system as for a US tour (at least approx. the same), meaning that 10C-members would get tickets through 10C.

As for going all the way to the US to see PJ, just don't make the same mistake I did: Buy tickets on the internet before you go for more than $100 a piece (did I mention I hate Ticketmaster??), just to come there and find out that they're ALL the way in the back, and then have no problem getting decent tickets for face value outside the arena.

Thanks for the tips GivenToFly!! :D

If anyone, we know the extra mile we´ll have go through to get to see PJ live.
But you´ve done it!!!!

Still it must have been worth the 100 bucks to actually experience them live  !

If I had ended up paying $10.000 for the entire trip, it would still have been worth it!!
Can't put a price on the experience we had the summer of 2003, no chance...!!
