I'd like to see Into the Wild. Syriana was alright.

superbad is pretty funny if you like that kind of stuff, id say into the wild otherwise.

lol, yeah i went to bed! I took most people's advice and watched Into The Wild. I'm still not certain how much i enjoyed it. I think the dialogue written for Hirsch's character was a bit preach-preachy at times, it kinda frustrated me. I also thought the little chapters appearing on screen weren't needed.
However, as the credits rolled i was filled with a sense of sadness and loneliness. I'm the kind of person who would see the idealism and romanticism in doing what Chris did; i can see parts of my personality in him. And i know that i'd probably do it all just like he did and then realise how much i needed people, but just like Chris i'd already be on my way to being dead before i realised it.
It annoyed me that at numerous times throughout the film he'd be talking to someone and saying how you don't need human interaction to be happy and to get through life; but without the people he met on the way he would not have got anywhere close to realising his dream of going to Alaska. I think it was silly that he only realised how people can be a good thing literally at the very end of the film.
That said, the film left me thinking so it's definitely had some sort of impact on me.
I think something lighthearted tonight before i go to sleep!
