What i mean is...movies where their atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. Where you would fall asleep to it during the middle of the night and wake up to it comfortably. My film...

The Thin Red Line (1998)

There is more to it than just a war movie. Its underlying themes. And that poetic dreamy narrative. Great music. Beautiful imagery. I can fall asleep to it and wake up to it and fall asleep again.

Well, I don't know what else to say. I actually do what he's talking about all the time. I've been sick for the past two weeks and I put it on several times just to watch a bit, fall asleep, wake up and catch some more wherever it was at, pass back out. It's kind of like comfort food viewing.

No I can watch it all the way through. But it's sort like my white noise machine, background noise that helps me fall asleep.

Nothing warms up a winter day like a cup of cocoa, a toasty fire, and Cannibal Holocaust on the tv.

Pretty much any of my favorite movies. But the falling asleep thing doesn't work for me, because I cannot fall asleep while I'm watching a movie.
