The greatest QB ever to grace the field. There will never be another one like him. Congratulations Dan ..!
"Steve Young was a high school senior being recruited by Army when he stood on the sideline at West Point and watched a freshman for Pitt named Dan Marino.
"I saw him throw an 18-yard out and thought, 'I'm never going to play in college,' " Young said.
Of course, he did play in college -- and then the pros. So did Marino. On Saturday, two of the NFL's best quarterbacks were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame..."

Dan was pretty damn good. The best pure passer of all time. If he ever had a running back or a defense he would have some rings.
Miami Defense wasn't too bad for most of his reign.

in any event, miami had a top 5 defense in 1990, and a good solid defense for most of the 90s.

First off a solid defense means average, and last time i checked average doesnt get much in the nfl. And karim abdul jabar, bernie parmalee, and sammy smith were his running backs, and try to name some of his receievers in the 90's. If he had half of the supporting cast that jim kelly had in buffalo the dolphins would have won all 4 of those super bowls.
