Check it out! This is a short, b&w, silent Super 8 film I made for my intro to filmmaking class. It's mostly all stop-motion or single-frame shooting, with a little bit of standard speed stuff mixed in there. It's only like 2 and a quarter minutes long, and pretty weird. I'd never worked with film before, and now that I can see what looked good and what didn't, I can say that I would definitely shoot differently.
Sorry about the OK quality. I just sort of aimed my digital camera at what was being projected onto the wall. Thanks and enjoy!
I'm calling it Literally a Film.

Thanks for clicking mastaflathch, corduroy_blazer, conoalias, *Chloe, and anyone else who may have! I appreciate it. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I'll agree that Super 8 is pretty cool-looking stuff. I was having some worries about working with film, but it's surprisingly fun to use, though at times tedious. Thanks guys!

Heh, heh. I don't know about all that. Thanks though.
I'm an undergrad at SUNY-Binghamton, where I'm studying economics. Economics? It even sounds weird when I say it. Hmm. I'm convinced that the cinema department here is the most avant-garde cinema department in the country. I think it's good to learn about filmmaking in though, because even though it doesn't put any emphasis on storytelling, there is a lot of emphasis on experimentation and playfulness with the medium. Breaking things down to the basics. Fun so far, at least.
