Full disclosure: I have not, nor will I, watched this show.
The concept is that people give someone else's money to charity. If they do it well, they win a million dollars.
If I see some degenerate on the morning talk shows talking about how wonderful it feels to have made a difference in a person's life (because they were given a million dollars to hand someone else's money to that person), I will hunt that person down for the sole purpose of vomiting on them.

Does it make a difference if said 'someone else's money' is acquired through taxes and not Oprah?
I gotta say though, competitive charity seems pretty fucked up to me. The point of charity is to help people because you are capable, not because you want to win, and certainly not to raise advertising revenues, even if portions of the proceeds are donated.

You've just brought my career crashing to the ground.

It's always great to see people get help. I just don't want to see people getting national praise for being good for pay.
