Well, I'm beginning to believe that not only Jeff spend some time in the studio and that we can hear something new from Stone any time now.

So far there's not much confirmed but let's sum up some newsbits:

Still not much confirmed but something is likely to happen any time now.

Last Sunday (9-14) Stoney played a benefit show in NY.
He played some country covers and some originals. The covers included countried versions of '1999', 'start me up' and 'ace of spades'!
There some stuff on youtube now, like this one:


According to some who where there Stone said he will release a full country record any time soon, filled with both covers and originals.

hmm, that's cool that stone is making a new record. how far along is he? cuz as much as i dig that stone's doing this, i'd rather have all the boys get together for a new PJ album. didn't jeff say they were gonna reconvene very soon (and this was like a month or two ago) and get to writing again?

bayleaf had some good tracks, i've never listened to any of the side projects (beside Mad Season) so i really enjoyed hearing stone outside of PJ.
