Great post-rock band. I finally got their first ep, which is very good.
But nothing beats the great debut album called "The Four Trees". Talk about such intense and beautiful music that only few bands can make these days.

Their discography is small, so its easy to collect, and i recommend everything.

you are the conductor ep (2005)
tour ep (2006)
the four trees (2007)
split with Constants (2008)

the split only has 1 song, La Cerva
the tour ep has a Loft demo, Crawlspace and a exclusive tune called Cigarrete
the debut ep is GREAT, and has the original Loft plus other 5 songs

that debut ep is a must have if you like the album

The Four Trees was good. For some reason I thought they were going to release something new this year, but it's just the split then ?

There is this girl on last.fm who argues in every single black metal shoutbox, and I have gotten into it with her a number of times. She wrote a 50% review on Dead as Dreams on MA, and I always gave her shit for it. That was like 8 months ago. A couple weeks ago, she rewrote the review and changed it to an 85%

We all come around some day. :D

Asa kicked my ass today. the 4/4 to 7/4 time change is pretty damn righteous.

The Four Trees just made me a better musician. I am sure of it. There is no taking back what it just did to me.

SJ5 just signed with Differential Records for US distribution so the catalog should be much easier to get in the near future. I think they are rereleasing the first two and also the new one when it's ready.

Yeah the new one is called Tertia, and should be out in September.

Try Russian Circles.
