ive seen the pilot, it was pretty good but didnt hook me or make me feel like i just HAD to see more. i figured it picks up a ot as you get to know the characters.

one thing i dont understand is the overwhelming number of actors/actresses i come across on imdb that are credited as being in one episode of lost. given that they are stranded on a deserted(? ((dont correct me if im wrong about that)) ) insland, it seems weird that this is the case. i guess there are a lot of flashbacks to before they landed there.
x-files did go on for too long but at its prime almost no other show can even come close to it, including lost great as it is.

No it wasn't, I Hail Randy Moss.
Yes it was. Besides the first three seasons, which I consider to be the best first three seasons of any show, the 8th season was the most exciting. The show was declining in the 7th season, and then rejuvenated itself with season 8. Even the stand alone episodes with Doggot were awesome (especially the episode "Via Negativa"). I can't help it viewers lost interest becaues Mulder was gone half of the season. Their loss i guess.
Season 9 I wish never existed.
I hope the new film reboots the franchise and brings it to new viewers.
