Help!

I'm desperately trying to upload a torrent on dime and the mods don't really reply to there emails....I followed the dime wiki, and Azureus wiki to create the torrent and clicked the box that stated "open the torrent for seeding when done", uploaded it on dime and it stated that it was uploaded successfully. It was in the Azureus window as a seeded torrent, but when I looked at it on my dime profile it stated, Visible: No (dead) ...I deleted from the seeded window and tried downloading the file from the site and now it's in my downloaded section at 0%.....if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated....

i don't use Azureus so i can't give you accurate advice, but it sounds like it isn't linked properly locally. you have to make sure that the torrent links to your data on your HD and do some sort of recheck data thing (uTorrent has this). then it should go to 100% and you become a seeder.

you always have to download the file from the site

When I attempt to download the torrent file from dime so that I can seed it, my download section states that I have a "share ratio violation; please raise your share ratio up to 0.25 first)". I think this is why this isn't working. I'm trying to download it so that it checks it starts seeding it, but my ratio sucks, which won't allow me to just begin the seed. Am I correct? isn't this a catch 22? I can't seed without downloading the torrent first. But I can't download because my ratio sucks.

It states under my torrents that the one I'm trying to seed (will be personalized for you upon download).

That might have sounded a little confusing. Basically, I can't download at all now because my ratio is so low. So I don't even think I can download my own torrent before seeding it.

you don't 't have to download your own torrent if you're the one who's uploaded it, that's the beauty of torrenting. all you'd have to do is recheck your files with the files you put in the torrent so that they match up to 100% and you're set.

God damn it. I know this is right at my fingertips. I still can't figure this out. Do i have to delete the torrent file on dime to try this again? They're saying I have the 0% problem. http://wiki.dimeadozen.org/index/0percent_problem

I'm really retarded. I know I'll figure this out and then laugh at myself. :shake: :|

SPECIAL NOTE to users of Azureus: we've had increasing reports that Azureus, once it has seen the wrong directory, cannot be persuaded to look anywhere else. If you have a 0% problem with Azureus, you may have to seed the torrent with another client on DIME's recommended client list. Do not post another torrent of the material; use another client to seed the torrent that you've already posted.

I'm trying to find a solutions manual to my electrical engineering book, but the sites that I can find that claim to have it are subsciption, or request that you email some fellow and pay $5.00 via paypal. I'm definitely not going for that. Any suggestions from you folks? The textbook is: Principles and Applications of Electrical Engineering, Fifth Edition.
