Go MSG.
Camden is filled with the biggest, drunkest guys I've been around. The only thing blaring in the parking lot was Ten and the guy beside me was screaming for Red Mosquito during My Morning Jacket's set. The guy on the other side of me got into a fight over someone looking at his hat. They cut beer sales off before the 6th song on the 2nd night. I've never seen such a collection of people puke and rally before a show.
The crowd actually wasn't that bad on a whole but it seemed many would have been just as happy to "rock out" to Def Leppard.
Also, i don't know if PJ's sound guy sucked but I thought it was too quiet. I wasn't that far back either. Pearl Jam seemed to give it everything they had but I definitely thought it was missing something up there.
MSG will be LOUD! I assume the crowd will be a little cooler as well.

I know. They requested it because these abnormally large men were too drunk, too early in the day. That was my point.

Not really sticking up for CAmden but your logic makes no sense.
They requested it at every stop that tour... i.e. if they would have played MSG they would have done the same. So, what does this have to do with Camden again?
And because of close proximity, you are going to be thoroughly upset at the crowd of MSG if you were upset with Camden.

My only other shows were on the west coast and they didn't stop selling beer there in the first 30 minutes of the show.
The crowd just seemed a little more meat head to me than other shows I've seen but it might have just been perception. I wasn't able to get tickets to MSG anyway! Maybe through ticketmaster.
When we were tailgating on night 2, I swear I saw a guy throw up more then is humanly possible. Dude threw up on the other side of that iron fence for like 10 minutes. When he stopped, one of my friends said, "think we should give him a Gatorade or something?"
