sup wtob? this is the same venue they've always played in WPB, it's just that it has changed names once again. it's a good place if you got actual seats. i didn't care for the lawn.

I can't wait.

My buddy and i are going to fly into WPB and stay at a hotel on the beach for a couple days...see PJ...then drive to Tampa and do it all over again.

This is a guy that i got into Pearl Jam. He's totally obsessed now and these will be his first shows.

Palm Beach Oceanfront Inn in Palm Beach - It's on the beach and about 4 miles from WPB

Quorum Hotel Tampa Westshore in Tampa.

Edit: The easiest way to book it is through expedia.com. Just use their vacation packages and select 2 destinations. You can fly into WPB and out of Tampa, get hotels, and cars all at once.

I think I'll fly in there a few days early, and enjoy the beach to get over the jetlag

any cheap place not too far from the beach/centre? hostel type is fine by me.. my number 1 interest in a hotel is cheap, hot shower, no bugs..everything else is luxury

WPB has tons of hotels; you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one reasonably priced. I've never heard of any hostels there, but maybe I've never been in the right place.

One suggestion I would give is when you're looking at flights, look at flying into Ft. Lauderdale. Its a good airport because nearly every airline carrier flies there, so the rates are pretty competitive. It may be cheaper than flying into WPB. And the drive is nothing outrageous, about 45 minutes to the show, and you'll be closer to the heart of So. Fla, with Ft Lauderdale beach and South Beach and all that stuff closer to you. If you're into that stuff. Dunno if you are, but thats just one idea.

yeah that's the problem..we won't get a car until just before the show.. so I'll be carless for a few day. (which I am most days anyway..but obviously some sort of public trnaspor, or walskable distance..which is a few miles btw, not 45mn drive)

oh well, will think about it after the tickets and flights are sorted.

Found this. Unfortunately it doesn't run late enough to catch it after the show. Looks like I'm gonna have to rent a car. We're staying at the Marriott West Palm Beach. It's about 10 miles from the venue. Anyone else staying here?
