More than 60 bands and performers - including Beck, Primus and Widespread Panic - have been signed for the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival on five stages over three days, Aug. 22-24, in Golden Gate Park, producers announced Monday.

In addition to the already advertised headliners - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Radiohead and Jack Johnson - the colossal program will also feature Wilco, Manu Chao, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, and Steve Winwood.

Also appearing will be Rodrigo y Gabriela, Café Tacvba, Broken Social Scene, Regina Spektor, Devendra Banhart, Galactic's Crescent City Soul Krewe, Steel Pulse, Cold War Kids, Andrew Bird, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Drive-By Truckers, M. Ward, ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra), Matt Nathanson, Two Gallants and Mother Hips.

"So many things fell in line for us," said Another Planet Productions' Gregg Perloff, who is presenting the event in partnership with Superfly Productions of New Orleans, producers of the annual Bonnaroo Music Festival on 700 acres in rural Tennessee. "We're just smiling over here. We can't believe our lineup."

Other acts include the Coup, Dredg, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Donavon Frankenreiter, Kaki King, Black Mountain, Sidestepper, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Goapele, Nellie McKay, Sean Hayes, Rupa and the April Fishes and K'Nann. More acts will be announced.

"These are not just popular artists," Perloff said, "but artists with credibility, career artists that we think are some of the finest live acts in the business. It's not about who has the hit record."

Three-day tickets will go on sale for $225 at 10 a.m. Sunday. Perloff says he has no immediate plans to sell single concert tickets.

The stages will be spread across adjacent areas of the park - from the massive Polo Fields to the Lindley and Speedway Meadows, where the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival is largely staged. The park will receive a portion of the proceeds.

All three headliners will perform after sundown, a first for Golden Gate Park concerts.

Outside Lands festival: Aug. 22-24, Golden Gate Park. Three-day tickets: $225. On sale 10 a.m. Sunday. (415) 421-8497, http://www.sfoutsidelands.com.

I'm all over this. I made a pledge to finally see Radiohead on this tour and I can't think of a better first time to see them than this. Gonna be a great fucking weekend for sure!
