Good Luck this year:
Baseball : Brewers' pitcher facing elbow surgery
Brewers left-hander Chris Capuano was told he has a torn ligament in his pitching elbow and probably will need Tommy John surgery for the second time in his career.
Capuano, 29, injured his elbow in an exhibition game Monday against Seattle.
He had an MRI on Thursday and team physician William Raasch confirmed the diagnosis of a torn ulnar collateral ligament.

It's not that big of a loss as long as nobody else goes down. They were deep in starting pitching and with how he pitched last year he was likely looking at long relief anyway.

I see they released Vargas yesterday. Not a bad move since he was out of minor league options and they wanted to keep Para and Villenueva up, but a little surprising after Capuano went down.

Probably like 5. He will be around enough to get the brew crew well above 500, and then he'll get hurt and help bury the team for the season. Color me optimistic

Since he's in a contract year I figure he'll kick ass and the Brewer's will be dumb enough to give him a big contact and then he'll be back to his usual self of injuries next year.

Going to Brewers games is about the only thing I miss about living in Wisconsin. It's going to be a fun year battling the Cubs; I just hope we can pull it off this year and not tank down the stretch.
