I just finished reading Norwegian Wood a few moments ago and it was really quite great. Has anyone else read any of his stuff? I'm considering reading some more of his after I read a few other books I need to get done with.

I have "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" sitting on my shelf. I keep putting it off but i'll get to it at some point. I've heard great things about it. What did you think of "Norwegian Wood"?

I just finished Norwegian Wood last night, stayed up to a ridiculous hour to finish it,. amazing book absolutely loved it. Iv also read wind up bird chronicle and blind willow sleeping woman,.. definitly read wind up bird, its great.

Kafka On the Shore is also excellent. It's right up there with Wind-up Bird Chronicle.

I almost bought this in Barnes & Noble the other day but decided against it. I'm kinda regretting it now.

Kafka on the shore is fantastic, so is Hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world. I guess I prefer his more drawn out works. Maybe it's because of all the handjobs in those, I dunno.

spirited away is one of my fave films! i reckon il love kafka on the shore, HM is my favourite author at the moment.,

so you'd recommend the book version of spirited away as well then?

heh, sorry, i kinda worded that funny. there's no book version of spirited away, just that to me kafka is like a book equivalent of spirited away.
