FIRST EPISODE: "Partners in Crime"
Donna Noble is determined to find the Doctor again – even if it means braving the villainous Miss Foster and her hordes of sinister Adipose, as Russell T Davies's Bafta Award-winning time-travelling drama returns for a fourth series. But when the alien threat escalates out of control, can Donna find her Time Lord before the march of the Adipose begins at last?

So this is the opening act for Battlestar Galactica.

Is this shown around the same time in America, then?

I think she could be a good assistant. :)

Nope, we don't get it on Sci-Fi until after the series ends. We're forced to download.

That sucks. BBC America should be ashamed!

Looks like I was just kidding about Sci-Fi waiting until after the completion of the current series. Doctor Who commences on April 18 with this past year's Christmas special, "Voyage of the Damned," presumably to be followed in the weeks after by the series 4 episodes.

I really loved this episode. Had some absolutely fantastic bits of humor, particularly when Donna and the Doctor notice each other for the first time. Also, the little fat babies were cute as hell.

And then came the holy shit moment. Pretty good hint at what's going to be happening late in the season, I think.

Now, you know I can be VERY critical of Dr. Who. But I loved this episode. That moment of recognition you mentioned was hilarious, and the chemistry between the two of them is evident. Bodes well! 8)

And fuck me that holy shit moment...

Out of interest, did you notice (in some trailers) that the Ood are making a comeback? I really hope that means we're treated to 2 episodes of the calibre of The Satan Planet doublebill. They were awesome.

I believe the Ood are only in one episode that visits their home world. Something along the lines of finding out why they became a subservient race.

Ah I see... thanks. Although they do have those demonic (posssed?) eyes in the trailer...

I enjoyed this episode, as well. Nice drop of the First Doctor story in mentioning Rome burning.

Yeah that was good as well. No sign of the Pregnant Shetland Pony (Rose) in that one...

Enjoyed the Celtic stuff. "We don't want to upset the status quo!" "*whispering* He's celtic"

Now for the Ood next week...

A fair to middling episode tonight. Is it bad in that I didn't give a shit about the Ood?

Pretty good Sontaran doublebill. And an absolutely killer cameo from Rose

I've really loved all the episodes so far this year. Next week could be the one that breaks the streak unless it's handled very well, though.
