Personally, I prefer disc 2. While IMO, disc 1 has some good songs(All Night, Education, Sad, Alone, Leavin Here, YL, and some others), and disc 2 has a few flops...(Bee Girl, Sweet Lew, Wash(maybe)), Personally I think disc 2 has, in general, better songs and a better flow throughout. At least, that's what I think after just over 48 hours ruminating on it (I know, you probably bought it on the day it was released, but back then, Pearl Jam was the band who made that animated video to me.)

and Wash is definitely not a flop, more like a highlight

The new version of Wash on disc two is virtually the best thing on the whole album...
But disc one is definitely my favourite, disc two totally loses points for the remade-for-the-worse version of Dirty Frank (original is much better) and the utter waste of time that is the instrumental Brother. It really blows my mind that they included that, either include the song with vocals or just replace it with something else surely?!...

yeah I thought we had that thread too but I can't find it.
I prefer disc I. Disc II is certainly more consistent, and disc 1 has a few songs I actively dislike, but all night, sad, alone, education, down, undone, ledbetter--these are my favorite songs on the entire compilation

hey now hang on..its 2 compilation cds of snapshots from their entire career..i dont think 'flow' was high on the agenda when they were sequncing this one somehow. I think it's one of the best, bravest and fun things theyve ever done, and very much in the spirit of 'Odds & Sodds' by the Who (it even looks similar!). They took the temperature of the fanbase and got it right for once. Lost Dogs is a gem. How can anyone hate it? or is this one of those 'opposite' threads like that thing about everyone hating I got Shit & Release:?
I'd put on Lost Dogs way quicker than i'd put on certain other Pj records. Deffo.

The only songs on LD that I hate (with a passion) are "Gremmie Out of Control", "You" and "Last Kiss". I'm also annoyed that "Brother" has no lyrics. Other than that, the rest are good-great.
