This is something that many fans have been looking forward to for a long time. After the band's reaction to some of the US Tour's first few rows, it comes as no surprise. God, I'll have my fingers crossed between now and then.

but i'd love a modification. once you drew the 1st row tix, you're out for the next shows...spread the love even more!
Statistically, I think the chances of pulling front row twice are extremely low anyway! Though slightly higher in the southern shows that didn't sell out the 10c allocation of course.
hell, I don't even hold any hope to draw 1 or 2 at any of them, and I'm doing them all! (I'm not going to cry, when it was up to me and hard work, ie GA shows, I got there EVERY shows ... once in the US to say hi to Mike would be nice though of course )

The probablility of landing front 2 rows is now infinately higher than it was in years past. I excited and I'm crossing my fingers. A venue like Camden or Hartford probably have about 100 seats (50 10C pairs) that are the first 2 rows. If only 1000 10C pairs are sold, that would mean my odds are [50 10C pair in the first 2 rows] / [1000 10C pair total] = 5% or 1 in 20. I think those odds are fantastic, all things considered.

I'm certainly not even getting my hopes up about landing first 2 rows through the lottery but if it were to happen my wife and I would be giddy! The new policy really brings up the excitement level of going to the fan club window to get tickets for those of us who don't have super low numbers.

I think I have a better chance of getting in a gangbang than landing first row at a pearl jam show through ten club.
Scoring front row tickets for a Pearl Jam concert would make me happier than a sore taint at the end of a gang bang...

It is my destiny be graced with the honor of front row for MSG 2 since its my 30th birthday. Seriously, I really feel its gonna happen. I thought I was lucky enough just to get 10C seats, but then I find out that my new job changed its internet viewing ability 2 days after the pre sale and now pearljam.com is blocked. So I was even luckier than I thought.

good analogy.
ohh he said SORE taint...i thought he said 'score taint' (which makes no sense either)
yah...that's not really a good analogy. how often has your taint been sore...gang bang or not? i've never had a sore taint...am i doing something wrong? how many more times do we have to say taint before this thread gets locked?

My girlfriend's coming with me to MSG 1 and I'm hoping to score a little of that birthday luck as well since the 24th is her birthday. I'll let you know if it works.
