I generally love watching you. I've spent many a stoned or drunk night watching you. South Park, The Daily Show, and the Colbert Report are three of maybe 6 shows that I try to watch regularly. You have also produced such greats like Strangers With Candy and Stella (which was cancelled after one season, sad). Because of you, I have discovered many great comedians such as Lewis Black, Mitch Hedburg, and Demitri Martin. However, I have become doubtful of your ability to produce any good new shows. I thought that Lil' Bush had some potential, but it was a complete let down. There is nothing in that show that has made me even come close to a laugh. It's just stupid. Same thing with Lewis Black's Root of All Evil. Talk about a show that had unlimited potential, but Lewis Black barely shows up in the show. Mostly it displays unfunny comedians, and leaves me wonder where the punch line is. C'mon, you guys gave me Reno 911. I know that you can do better than that, but I've been more entertained by accidently stumbling upon Dont Forget The Lyrics than your recenct output. C'mon. I know you can do better than this. I miss the Comedy Central that could come up with a funny show. I know you can do it. I offer you my services. I am no comedian, but I guarantee you that I can come up with something funnier than Lil' Bush. I love you Comedy Central, I really do, but recently I've become saddened by your output. I only want what's best for you. So, next season, please, please, please come up with something better than something like Lil' Bush or Lewis Black's Root of All Evil. It would do everyone good, especially Lewis Black, I dont want his carreer destroyed by some unfunny fecal matter that you force him into.

Your Concerned Viewer,
Pat

You mention those two shows but forget to mention something like Kenny vs. Spenny.

CS is fine. Everybody stumbles onto a bad few shows. It's only two shows anyway. Nothing to be worried about, really.

Kenny vs. Spenny is kind of dumb too. I laugh, but it's dumb. it just seems like of the three new shows they've made in the past yearish that I've watched, they have batted at .5/3. Not a good statistic.

Comedy Central lost all momentum when Chappelle quit. Damn shame.

They're doing what alot of cable networks are doing. They've figured out they can make plenty of money relying on under half-a-dozen staple shows, and filling the rest of the airtime with complete shit.

Cable networks have been doing that since their inception. It's the way they do business.

Comedy Central,

Fuck you for pre-empting the 5th season of Reno911 until the summer time. I wouldn't really have minded if the South Park season that you decided to start airing didn't suck as much.

Thank You.

Their Friday Night Stand-up lineups are always great, though... or at least they are when they stay away from women comics.

its interesting that female comics tend to be less funny than male comics

"Stella" was the best thing they ever had and they let it slip through their fingers, the fools.
