I'm not sure if this is debate worthy or not, but I wanted to pass along the link anyway. I picked up the most recent copy of Outside Magazine (I myself am a diehard couch potato, but I enjoy reading about people being active) and was treated to one of the most interesting articles I've ever read. There is an outfitter in West Papau New Guinea who for a nominal fee will lead you on an expedition to find and spend five minutes with tribes who supposedly have never had any contact with the outside world.

No contact with the outside world other than the tour group that came in last weekend? Or the deal they made with the outfitter to not kill the people he brought in? It's borderline exploitative.

Oh, I would agree; it definately raises some moral and ethical questions, most of which are addressed to some degree in the article. I would suggest reading it when you get a chance.
