Conceivable, if there is enough interest, this could be a 32 or even 64 person tournament.
I doubt we could get up to 64 though.

are we going for fiction characters only, or can we use real people played featured in movies?

Ooo, interesting question. And are there going to be any other restrictions, such as at least one character of each gender, and such?

These definitely could be a good tourney, there are so many characters (and good ones out there) definitely could be more than a 16 member tourney (but holy shi- that draft time is going to be so fucking long, if we do go more than 16).

I think I can think of 6 favorite characters of mine, I think we should have them all be fictional characters, and maybe one round be the round in which we choose a real life portrayed leader/character.

Hell we could do a couple rounds for Fictional Males, a couple rounds for Fictional Females, a round for an animal, a round for a cartoon character, a round for a real life portrayal, etc. etc.

I guess that "film character" is a pretty broad term, right? So if we wanted, we could pick someone that's not really a "character" like Gandhi or Patton?

Yeah the commissioner of this tourney needs to come out and lay down a set of groundrules for us to obey by.

Because "film character" is DAMN BROAD. and anybody that I enjoy as a character in a movie and they make me show all kinds of emotions throughout the film makes them a good character to me.
