Not as many SNL bits on there as you'd might think, even from any of the deemed "classic" periods (which I would say the most recent would be long since past now, I myself haven't watched it in I can't tell you how many years). Surprised by #1?

Three from Monty Python in the top 6 sounds about right.

Nice to see a lot of The State sketches made it.

looks like they penalized the Rick James sketch because "frat boys" adopted it which is pretty lame.

And I have a hard time believing not one comedy sketch from the last 23 years deserves to be in the top 10.

Also, there were much better Chappelle sketches than "I Know Black People". Just off the top of my the Player Hater's Ball and Fisticuffs come to mind.

Some of these are just horrible. Take #1, for example:

Watching Chris Farley only walk to the stage in his Chippendale's outfit (let alone his dancing and reactions by Swayze) was funnier than any part of the #1 clip they've chosen. This list is for shit. "The Coneheads" as one of the best SNL skits. Heh, what a joke.

that dead parrot skit may not be the funniest thing you've ever seen, but its easily the most influential sketch comedy skit i've ever seen. most of those lines have been lifted by other writers. I watched if for the first time, and i knew all the lines because i've seen em in different shows/movies/ect... The only time i've seen writers rip off sketch comedy is with this sketch.
