While trying to find on IMDB for the location where Vedder & Young played "Long Road" for the "Tribute To Heroes" telethon, I was struck at the wording that IMDB have chosen for the description of the reason for the event.

America: A Tribute To Heroes
The American Entertainment industry's tribute to those killed in the September 11 Bombings

...to raise funds for the families of persons deceased or injured after the horrific bombings of September 11...

Anyone else find it curious that they are saying it was "bombings", as opposed to widely accepted airplane attacks?

Well, giant airplanes were used as missiles flown into buildings.

Isn't it a pretty regular practice, when you fire missiles at something with the intent of blowing it up, to call it "bombing"?

edit: But that doesn't really account for the fact that we blew that shit up demolition style from the inside.

Okee... wanted to make sure the consensus from RM members is that there were bombs placed in the buildings, and airplanes were not involved. Thanks!

Does anybody else wonder if Bob Ross's hair acted as a portable pillow for him? I can't imagine putting a pillow under that expansion and not having resulting neck pain.

imdb is owned by amazon. i really don't think they are looking to create controversy here. they want to sell you books and dvds.

I believe the public can request them to make changes, but any actual changes are made by IMDB staff.

If they listed "An Inconvenient Truth" as "a story about warm weather", I would also have questioned that description.
