I searched for this but I couldn't see an answer, so merge this if there's another thread.
My question is this: where the hell is Stone in Cameron Çrowe's Say Anything?
From IMDB.com: Cameron Crowe said in an interview, "Few people know this, but Stone Gossard is actually in Say Anything.... He plays a cab driver, and Ione Skye looks at him and kind of flirts with him a little bit as they're stuck in traffic on her way to graduation."
Great film but I've never, ever seen him in it despite multiple viewings. No such scene exists in my copy of the film (or in any of the deleted or alternate scenes on the DVD).
So, has anyone ever spotted him? Or is this scene not shown in the film or the deleted scenes on the DVD?

No help to your question but 2 early John Cusack movies are among my all time favourites because of what they meant to me at the time - Better off Dead and The Sure Thing. I could probably still recite all of The Sure Thing along with the movie.

I think Crowe said in a later interview that the scene ended up on the cutting room floor. It's definitely not on the DVD release, as people have brought this subject up on Synergy multiple times.

Stone, Jeff and Matt all perform on the soundtrack to this gem of a movie
