there was a horse named Crown Of Thorns I was gonna bet on, for obvious reasons.

these horses are born and bred to run, without it they're probably lost. It's not as tragic as it's made out to be. It sucks but it's not that big a deal. Just weird that it happened during the biggest race of the year

They are born to run. I'm not speaking out against horse racing. They are amazing athletes and are a joy to watch. I don't see how one of them dying is still not tragic.
