At the time of it's release. 1978 wasn't too kind to graphic gang rape in theaters.

Actually it was shown pretty widely in the US and the UK, and was only banned in the UK a few years after it came out. Rape is a staple of certain types of exploitation movies. ISoYG was niether the first nor the most graphic.

Why does this movie keep popping up here? Me & 3 or 4 other people should know this one. It is not fit for mass consumption... sicko's only. Hell, it's not even a particularly good movie. This was a "look how hardcore I can be" movie when I was a teenager. Only the sickest fucks watch this stuff.

On the other hand, I guess it is a good way to get out of dating some chick if you bring her back to your place and throw this on.

In high school we would have a Cheesy 80s Horror Flick Night every so often. ISOYG was in the horror section and it looked perfect. It was quite hilarious how we went from normal horror movie excitement to shock and disgust. I don't think we finished it or maybe only a few guys finished watching. It was awful. :thumbsdown:

Then my friend's mom and dad found it and watched it the next day and raised all holy hell.
