does anyone listen to this kind of music? suggestions? i think i'd like to see a live show.

i don't know anout NYC but here you can go to the symphony orchestra's rehearsals for free sometimes :)
so i heard - i never went there.

For the novice, the Schubert Unfinished and the Mendelsson Italian are winners. And David Robertson is a terrific conductor and a great showman. I've seen him many times with the St. Louis Symphony and always had a wonderful time.
