So I'm having the interior of my house painted. The painter is a neighborhood guy who knows my family not incredibly well but well enough. Every day around 9 or 10 am the radio comes on really loud blasting country music. Now it's pissed me off all week, but i said nothing as I was sleeping late for no apparent reason and me waking up early wasn't a huge deal. The thing is I work overnights on the weekend, that means, come Thursday night I stay up late so I can sleep most of Friday and be set for work Friday night. Now Friday at 9am he blares his music and I come out and explain to him that I have to work that night and ask him if he could just keep the volume lower. His voice, in a snub matter of fact tone was, "well your mom told me I can play the musis as loud as I want." He sounded like a 4 year old girl, not like a grown man who can be considerate to other people and listen to fucking reasoning. I just got home from work and he's due here sometime in the next few hours. I'm working another overnight tonight so just now I went behind our stereo and unplugged everything, then neatly put all the components back so it looks like nothing was moved.

Fucking pisses me off when grown man act like whiney little bitches and can't listen to reason. I hope he has fun with with it today.

yeah, that's ludicrous that he couldn't just turn it down a little. people have no respect for anyone else. i worked midnights when i worked for sam's club, and that shit ain't fun. our neighbors would always leave their dog tied out rain or shine, and of course when it rained it'd be barking non stop cause it wanted inside. or someone would be mowing their grass (which they are entitled to do...it was just annoying) or there would be some other random noises that would keep me awake.

That's the thing, she doesn't give a shit. Until this summer I had a room in the basement where I couldn't hear anything. It was great with my irratic work schedule. This summer I came home one day and my brother had moved in there. She had given it to him even though he gets up at a normal hour every day. Now I'm working overnights trying to sleep all morning into the afternoon with an incredibly loud family.


On a good note. No country music was heart today.

I wasn't trying to act spiteful or cute by doing it. I just needed some sleep.
