They've been beating the Teresa Kerry remakr to death pushing and pushing it trying to get ppl outraged. THey invited viewers to call and tell them what they thought. Anyway I called and said I thought her comment was taken out of context and not saying raising a kid isn't work blah blah blah...anyway 3 times after I called they said on air that not a single caller or emailer has disagreed that what she said was horrible!

Maybe they disregarded you because she didn't mention raising a child.

then why was that the angle they have been taking on their morning show? Lines like "My sister is ready to have her 6th child, tell her raising them's not work!"

Or "What Kerry's wife said was a slap in the face to my wife who raises our child"

I'm aware she didn't mention raising a kid, that's my point, with 12 days before the election Faux Propaganda channel is twisting things into something else. Exactly, she didn't mention raising a kid so why is Faux insisting that's what she meant?

Fox is repeating the implications mentioned by Karen Hughes.

She said (for anyone that missed it) when asked about Laura Bush and how the two of them compare as first ladies "Well, I don't believe she's every held a real job."

First, Laura Bush has held several jobs, including public school teacher, and second, the implication is that raising a family isn't a job (aka - isn't work).

I could really care less, except that this only proves once again that every time that loudmouth ketchup queen opens her mouth she further solidifies the fact that she's a classless jackass.

She cracks me up. If I was Kerry, I would put a muzzle on her.

The American public loves Laura Bush... her approval rating is ridiculously high.. so Terezzzza attacks her???

Terezzza puts her foot in her mouth all the time... there was this comment and the one about anyone who disagrees with her husband's health care proposal is "stupid". Among others, my favorite was the one directed to the vicitim's of the hurricanes in Florida where she explained, "let them run around naked, at least for awhile, especially the kids" in reference to food being more important than clothes.

i'm not defending her, but she did apologize saying she forgot she had jobs like librarian and educating children is the most important job.

Anywa my point is they said no one disagreed that this was a big deal, I did cos I think this isjust another in the long list of nonissues, yet they said on air no one thought that way when i had called to tell them i did

If you think that the mainstream news sources don't put a spin on an issue that better fits with their political ideas then you need some help............

I go for the age old argument that Teresa is a bitch.

Don't give me that independent woman shit; she got her money from a Republican, she pays dick in taxes, married back into politics for stature, and runs her mouth on what makes her better than everyone else.

She said she was "African America" for fuck's sake. This woman is fucking insane.

Seems to me that you care a bit more than you're letting on. This all seems like a nonissue to me. 8)

Nope, don't care. The first lady is only married to the president. No power, no more rights that you or I. The entire topic is irrelevant really, but not every conversation I have (and you too, i'd bet ;) ) is deep and meaningful.

Well said, well said. Lets just make sure we keep things in perspective here...I'd hate somebody to switch their vote based on a comment made by a first lady or first lady in waiting. Especially since Laura Bush said that no apology was needed for the comment because she understands how people can be trapped into saying certain things.

"Right hand pulls trigger
Left hand shrugs shoulder"

aint that just the way it is? Yeah who does care? It's not like this will sway my vote My point is were the world's only superpower and look at our political system. It is completel rotted. We have an american aljazeera. We are just as guilty.

Seeing the course we are on and the way these neo cons think and looking and seeing support for dubya and those holding his strings all i can think is hearing ppl defend their policies and actions, misdeeds, lies, misstatements....i bet this is how germany fetl at a certain point...not comparing deeds, just how the populace can be so docile as to be allowed to be swept away in paranoia and facism. I'm sorry i bothered you, let's keep everying how it is, go back to sleep, your government is in control

I don't even know what this story is, so I can't comment on it.

Who fucking cares what Teresa or, for that matter, Laura have to say? They aren't going to be running the country or in any real position of power.
