Has anyone sat behind the stage before? how was it? I have tix to section 117 at DC. anyone know if the view to the stage is blocked? hows the sound, loud or good?

last time i think i was in 120 - can't remember exactly.

at any rate, we were corner stage mike's side. ok seats, if i can find a pic, i'll post.

the sound kinda sucks. i've seen 'em twice there (vfc '04, may '06). it's really loud and echoey.

be on the look out for the posters - '03 and '06 dc posters are pure classics.

My friends sat up high in the corner behind the stage in 2006. If you're looking out at the crowd from the stage, they were behind and up to the right over your shoulder.

They said some of the speakers obstructed their view and the sound wasn't any good. Verizon Center, like most huge places has horrible acoustics. I saw Springsteen at the back of the arena in nosebleeds and the sound bouncing off of the roof and back at you was annoying.
