My mum had an awful boyfriend that tried to kill her when he was out on bail. It was scary enough to make me still remember the sound of him trying to get into the house.
My mum's fine though. It's not nearly as depressing as it looks written down.
The scariest thing was when my brother hugged me and told me that he loved me!

Mine is actually probably the shit I was blissfully ignorant of when I was a kid living in the ghetto with no dad and a crack addicted mom (not even joking). House got robbed on like a weekly basis.

It actually is real. They sell it in the UK somewhere. This thread's premise is better anyway though, how else would we have heard about Gimme Some Skin's run ins with HIV.

No, i do not. I didn't find out until over 6 months after i had slept with her. I'm so glad, because testing isn't as accurate until you are 6 months out. But i still had to wait about 5 days to find out the results of the test.
It's about a 1 in 2000 chance to get HIV from insertive penile to vaginal intercourse, per encounter. I had sex with her 3 or 4 times. So i had around a 1 in 500 shot at having it.
Even though the odds were for me, it still sucked. When talking about something that will kill you, 1 in 500 still doesn't seem that good.
The worst part was thinking "How would i tell my parent i am HIV+".
