My wife won 2 STP tickets a couple weeks ago and we already had 2 to begin with. The people we were going with bailed out and we want to get rid of them. There is a stipulation though and that's why the LI disclaimer was put on the thread header. We will give the tickets(worth about $80 apiece) to any board member that wants to pick me and my wife up and drive us home from the show at PNC this Saturday. We want to get drunk and not have to worry about driving. If you want to drink that's fine but make sure you're somewhat sober for the drive home cause i don't want to die just yet. So here's what you get:
Two tickets to STP(Filter opening), worth about $165
Seeing a band nobody thought would get back together
The pleasure of being in the company of Clubber for multiple hours while he entertains you

damn clubber I just had 2 people cancel for this show on me. but im not on LI so i wouldnt be able to provide transportation.
I saw STP on monday night. it was good to see them again, most definately, but it was NOTHING like back in 96 and 03 when i saw them
you should have a good time though
where did they play on Monday? I heard Scott's voice has been faltering a bit which is weird for me cause i've seen them 5 times and Velvet Revolver once and everytime he nailed it. Maybe they're rusty too and will be ready for the Jersey show on Sat. Also, are you going to the Sat show? I didn't quite get your post...probably cause i'm stoned

scott was out of it, he seemed SOMETHING....drunk? hopefully. the other thing is what i was worried about. he nailed almost every song, but in between he rambled on about nothing, didnt make much sense.
i can recite the setlist by heart after reading them on their website after each show. didnt matter, the hits were great, the DeLeo's were nearly perfect, and the crowd had fun. If they had only played Atlanta I might have needed new pants after the show

I would probably take you up on this offer if I didn't already have plans this weekend.
No way are your plans better than STP
Meeting with a friend who I haven't seen in almost 2 years... that overtakes STP in terms of importance.... plus I hear they may be playing Jones Beach in August, so I want to wait & see if that's true or not.

Suprised not to see Hollywood Bitch on that setlist. Pretty similar to setlist to when I saw them on the Euro Shangrila-DEE-DA tour back in 2001. If I lived in NY instead of Ireland, I'd be there with fucking bells on.
