feeling like you have a dick in your ear for the next 4 days. getting your jeans all sweaty. the trip home after getting exhausted. if you drove to a big venue, having to wait 2 hours to leave the parking lot.

I just don't like big crowds, or crowds at all I guess. I used to love seeing festivals of upwards of 65,000 people. I'd rather pay to see a good band in a club nowadays. You don't have thousands of drunk assholes to deal with, and you can get there and back without having to spend several hours in line.

While most music fans are pretty anal about audio quality when they listen to records, they're totally forgiving about the sound and complete loss of subtlety in a concert setting as long as the volume is unnecessarily loud.

yeah the cellphone picture taking thing is horribly irritating. just stand there and enjoy the show with your eyes and ears instead of spending 2 hours trying to document it with 200 blurry pictures. if you want pictures that badly by a real fucking camera and learn how to us it at a concert you asshats.
and on a related note, people who use flash photography at concerts. trust me, that flash isn't going to do shit from your 80th row seats other than to illuminate the head of the guy in front of you.

The biggest downfall for me is driving 3+ hours usually, paying for a hotel room or driving all night back home and being exhausted afterwards. But it's usually worth it and I keep coming back for more, several times a year.

the cell phone picture taking (and often times texting) during the show drives me fucking bonkers. These people aren't fans. Least not fans of the music. If you do this at a show, just know - you look like an asshole.

same here, except substitute 3, with 5-6 or more. i had to cut back this year because it just eats up my vacation time.

i could understand taking one photo with your cell phone. spur of the moment kinda thing. but taking countless photos with your cell phone is moronic.

the obnoxious meat head that wont stop yelling stupid shit. his own friends wont even tell him to shut the fuck up allready.
group photos in the middle of the floor when everyone is literally elbow to elbow. yes, you four got get side by side, and you over there step back 5 feet to take the picture. right in the middle of the show, that shouldn't bug anyone around you at all.
