That's stupid. Pinkpop rules, despite the huge amount of one day visitors. I've been there more than 10 times, starting in 1991 and missing a couple of years, like this one. There are only two or three stages, but the line up is always good and so is the atmosphere. Pearl Jam played one of their best shows ever on the big stage, and I've seen many more bands who performed like they'd never done before. Timber, what made you write 'shitty festival, always has been'? Because it doesn't make much sense. Festivals can't be all heavens like Lowlands or Roskilde, but Pinkpop comes pretty close.

A good friend of mine who has been a Metallica fans ince 1983 and saw them +10 times over the year, said he probably saw his best metallica concert ever 2 days ago.
