I was suprised to see no thread on this yet. Anyone looking forward to this? I'm not sure what to think, but it certainly looks different than anything he's done before.

The movie looks freaking awful, but without having seen it and only going by the commercials, the one thing that absolutely makes my blood boil and fuels fantasies of going to hollywood to stab everyone involved in this flick in the face is the title. This is a blatant rip off of John Turturro's Jesus character from The Big Lebowski. Hey hollywood marketing assholes, you don't take a classic, oft quoted line like "Nobody fucks with the Jesus" from a film that infinitely shits all over your weak ass tired little dick joke movie, give it a little tweak and then NAME YOUR FUCKING MOVIE THAT! Call your stupid fucking movie "Zohan"; That one word title is all you get. This whole thing makes me irrationally livid, but I get so hung up on that everytime I see the commercials for this piece of shit.

dumb comedy is always fun. Sandler is really good at it. However...this movie? looks retarded.
I think right now he's a better dramatic aactor. I think rein over me was fucking amazing and im surprised he didnt get more critical acclaim to be honest. And punch drunk love was way off his own radar...but it was great...
But dont act like youve never laughed at adam sandlar.
yea, little nicky sucked balls but...whatever. Movies dont need to change your life everytime.

Both look bad but definitely this..............as somebody said already, looks like the worst movie ever. Adam Sandler has made a few great movies, a few decent movies, and a whole lot of crap.

Is Turturro in it too? He shows up in Adam Sandler movies from time to time.

Listening to the Radio folk here in town who went to the sneak last night, evidently it's got a few laughs but are too few n far between and comes in at almost 2hrs...much too long for a comedy.

Saw this last night...I am going to give it
First off, it's not great, but I love Sandler's dedication to silliness in this flick. There isn't a serious moment in the entire thing. I like that. Too many comedies these days try to pack in some sappy plot or a moral (I did not like Wedding Crashers for this reason, but I also loved Anchorman for this reason).
The entire movie is out of control. When you think you've had enough, they take it a few steps further. It is long, but it didn't drag. Not everyone is going to like it. I went in with low expectations and enjoyed it.

I didn't see Guru, but it has to be better than that.

This is one of the few movies that for me was so fucking horrendous I turned it off. Absolute pile of shit. Everyone had different accents, and I wouldn't call any of them "Israeli." Sandler sounded like a fucking French guy for Christ's sake. It was just a horrible, horrible movie on every level. Perhaps there was something redeeming in the second half, but I wasn't going to wait around to find out.
