He's pretty well-known as a solo artist, though.
I guess, the amount of people who know his solo albums versus the amount of people that know the beatles albums is a very different amount of people though. Beyond imagine, I don't think most people are aware of how many great songs he has on his solo albums.

the song, not the album though. someone who was in the biggest rock band in the world and has a solo carreer where at the most people know imagine and merry xmas (the war is over) i think is someone who is not traditionally a solo artist, but thats me bart. you on the other hand are a warrior poet with thoughts unknown to me
