I liked the movie more than I liked the script or Joy Division. I felt the director was great at making impacting and communicative images to tell his story. The story seemed very basic, and I'd have liked to see the story with more meat on its bones. I still don't really like Joy Division. It was fun seeing this story from a view other than 24 party people, which I think was the better movie. Both these films are worth watching though.

the more i listen to this band the more i think there is absolutely nothing to get. i get as much out of this band as i get out of the new chris cornell tracks.

winded, let's leave it at "you don't get it". There's a reason why they're so highly regarded and respected, because they made two of the most impassioned, claustrophobic, forward-thinking records of all time. It's definitely not for everybody, and thank God for that.
