I have 10c seats to DC and MSG 1. I'm not sure what I was thinking (maybe about the money) when I decided not to go for tix to MSG2 as well. Now I'm thinking of springing for one more show and am torn between getting an awesome seat (like 13th row center behind the pit) for Camden vs something ok but not great for MSG 2. I'm inclined to go for Camden 'cause I think being close is a real rush, but everybody talking about the momentous nature of the MSG shows, plus it's more convenient 'cause I live here...

Definately Camden. Can't miss If I was able I'd go too.

You sound like my wife. we're doing Hartford and both Mansfield shows. I've never done multiple shows either, but I can't wait. The wife, on the other hand...

Hubby won't be joining me for show #3... I'm suprised he decided to do 2...
Well, the old body can't take what it used to, and I do have to work all that week... but I think Mirella's probably right!

I have an unfortunate feeling that MSG 2 will be the better of the 2 nights this time around. I only have tix to night one. In 2003 the first show was superior but in 98 it was all about night 2. For some reason I think night 2 will shine brighter this tour. For my sake I hope I'm wrong because I will be on a plane back west at that point. But if you can go to both you totally should.
Plus, multiple shows is a lot easier to do when you are sleeping in your own bed at night and not traveling across state lines.

I got a ticket on ebay for MSG2 a couple of days ago.
Basically my husband's reaction decided it between that and Camden, but once I saw Leehro's post I realized that made the most sense anyway-- much more likely to get a wider variety of songs that way.
I've only been to 3 shows before, but have been bummed that I haven't heard Black or YL yet-- hopefully I'll get those two taken care of at least!
Drifting away, too bad you can't stay for the second show!

I thought MSG II was better than 1 in 03. 03 had a terrific encore but was an average show prior to that

Can I ask another question here that I brought up in a different thread-- because you guys sound like MSG old timers-- in the thread on 10c seats, some people were bitching about the quality of their seats, and were saying things like "you don't have a shot at decent seats if your 10c number is over 300xxx" (I'm paraphrasing)--
So I need a reality check here: this is my first time going for 10c seats, and my number is 405xxx (I'm an idiot for not joining sooner). Now I don't have any delusions about being up front (unless I win the lottery), but I had always heard that pretty much all 10c seats are decent. If I get stuck in the 300s or even in the far back 200s at MSG, I'm gonna be pretty sad. Because I would have forked out considerably more cash to guarantee I got better seats than THAT. Am I going to regret going through 10c?
I need to prepare myself, because it could come close to ruining my night if I show up and my seats are WORSE than before I joined 10c...

the more crowded the venue with 10cers the father back you'll be. So in that respect you're better off with the smaller shows. But MSG is a good arena to see a show. the sound is good and there won't really be any places with an obstructed view. You just may be a bit of a ways back--but still better than GA tickets.
