I have a question to anyone who's been to the shows....what is the poster policy this year??? I heard rumors that there was some sort of system that you could collect your poster AFTER the show after paying for it beforehand...please elaborate. Thanks, JAM

I noticed at the Columbia show that there is a big concern about people grabbing at your wristband during the show and/or mugging you for your poster after the show. Just something to be aware of.

Do you happen to know if they let you in to get the poster/wristband when the doors open at 6:30 and then back out to the parking lot or are you stuck inside? Basically I want to get in, get the wristband and go back out for more tailgating.
In NJ in 2006 I was able to grab a poster and go back out to the car but that may have been because the box office pick-up window was inside the stadium...

I wouldn't worry about someone ripping your wristband off. I saw firsthand that if your wristband is not ON your wrist, you don't get a poster. And obviously, once you're inside, you can't leave and come back. And when they say you have to come back to that particular merchandise stand, they mean it. The wristbands are color-coded by the different stands.
I wasn't sure how this whole wristband thing was going to work out, but after 2 shows, I am quite pleased. Nice work, guys.

Pretty much...I got there early and missed out
I got in after Ted Leo had played tonight (long story), so basically 8.30 and got a poster no problem. they apparently actually sold last night ones to the first people that got in too.
so far there hasn't been a single poster I wasn't able to get if I wanted, no matter how late I got in...I that!

Granted I've only been to Camden 1, but I had a long wait to get through the ticket counter and got in almost an hour after gates opened. And there were still plenty of posters left. It appears maybe the print runs are bigger this year - which is fantastic. 10C must have been listening on that one. Now if only we could get an option where we could order a poster with our tickets and have it sent to our house after the show, things would be perfect.

Well, I didn't get a poster on either night but I'll be trying for one on eBay I guess. I was having a blast at my tailgate and the weather was so nice I decided it was worth the extra 2+ hours of tailgating instead of going in early for a poster. Oh well. Hopefully I can grab one for $60 or less...

After Camden I the merch stand I went to was sold out of posters. After Camden II the merch stand I went to had plenty of wristbands left and it appeared that off to the side they had the Camden I "red" poster. Perhaps the previous poster was right and they have printed a larger number of these things. Supply drives demand, so maybe we won't see these things on ebay for a bazillion dollars.
Side note: I went in both nights after Ted Leo (probably 20-25) minutes before they went on and was able to get a poster with a minimal wait in line.

Sweet. I just got one off of eBay for $60. Not too shabby I guess and I'll have it framed in the house with the tickets so it will mean a lot for a long time and worth the extra money.

That's cool you got one, but it absolutely sucks that they're still going up on ebay, purchased by douchebags who don't give a shit about art, just making a few bucks.
The whole point of the wristbands thing was to avoid this. Maybe posters should only be sold through the fanclub somehow.

DC had 4 levels of merch. They all sold posters but there was only pickup on level 1. To get your poster in Columbia and Va Bch you had to go back to the Merch booth where you got your wristband. Wristbands are great but aren't stopping anyone (that trys) from getting more than one. And whoever started that rumor about metal detectors
